Armand didn’t think he would make it back from his last mission. Injured and in rehab, he ignored all of Renee’s letters after reading her first one- when she thought she wasn’t pregnant. Now he’s found out that wasn’t true. Back in town, he’s trying to juggle rehab, Renee, and his accusing friends and family. All he wants is for Renee to be happy and healthy, now if she would just stop throwing projectiles at him.
Begrudgingly forced together by well-meaning friends and family and good old fashioned Catholic guilt, they have a lot to work out before the baby arrives. Detente turns to passion but they must beware because an old enemy has found a new target. Can they work it all out and deal with the enemy whose sites have expanded to include Armand, Renee and their progeny?
This happily ever after features a small town, forced proximity, and military story. If you like strong, take-no-prisoners female main characters that save themselves and everyone around, then you will want to meet Renee.
