She was the spark I never forgot. This Christmas, I’m not letting her slip through the flames twice.
Willa Wilder comes back to Granitehart Ridge trying to save the Holly & Hearth Festival. Soft curves. Fierce heart. Still the girl I never stopped wanting. When a faulty wire sparks an outlet, I pull her away without thinking. That’s what I do. That’s who I am.
Someone snaps a photo of us kissing under the mistletoe.
Now the whole town thinks we’re together.
She asks me to fake-date her to keep the sponsors happy. I tell myself it’s temporary. But the second she fits against my chest, I know the truth: nothing about her has ever been pretend. I lost her once. I won’t make that mistake again.
If the town wants a Christmas couple, they’re getting one.
If anyone thinks I’m letting her walk away, they’re wrong.
This time, she’s mine.
