Have you ever been rescued by a Daddy who looks like he walked out of a romcom dream? Between a man who isn’t a Daddy yet, and a best friend who's as subtle as a glitter bomb, I'm in for a wild ride.
But when my dark past returns to haunt me, can Daddy’s love be enough?
It all started with my friend dragging me, kicking and screaming, to a costume day at a park designed for Littles—think kids' playland, but with way more adult-sized footsie pajamas and way fewer judgmental looks. Enter Brody, the guy with a smile that could melt the Arctic, and Will, his sidekick who seems to have Alex's sassy number. Sparks fly, banter ensues, and, naturally, a treasure hunt leaves me lost and questioning every life choice that led me to this moment.
But Brody isn’t a Daddy. Or is he?
Fast forward to us getting hired at a company co-owned by none other than Brody and Will. Coincidence? I think not. Suddenly, I’m trying to juggle designing logos while dodging googly eyes and inappropriate workplace daydreams. Professionalism? Never heard of her.
Brody and I are zooming from zero to sixty in the romance department, with video calls that would make your grandma blush. Meanwhile, Alex and Will are turning the office into their own personal romcom set, complete with flirty zingers and an almost alarming amount of cute.
But I try, and often fail, to keep my Little side under wraps while Brody's piercing gaze sees right through me.
Just when I think things couldn’t get any more complicated, my past comes knocking, with a mysterious letter seeking revenge. Will this be the straw that breaks this Little’s back? Will I finally muster the courage to reveal my full Little self to Brody?
Seriously, you won’t want to miss this. And if you do, well, let’s just say Alex has a few choice words for you.
