Random negotiates Babe's request while Trip is off in Italy setting his grand plan into motion. His time away with Geneva inspires the concept of scenario auctions. Trip's concept winds up being pivotal to Hannah and Cade, who parlay the upcoming auctions into securing her status with the company.
The Italy trip has another unforeseen side effect, providing Black the means to sort out that one loose end of his relationship with Sam. This instrument comes at a time when the couple is phasing through a normal-life milestone of settling into their private home over the holiday season.
On the heels of a successful first scenario auction, Random ushers in the new year by introducing an illustrious party theme to the Mercer Estate. He progresses his relationship with a happily committed Becky while striking a balance with Quinn. Upon finding out that Quinn is still in the picture, the pull of Becky’s own insecurities grows stronger than Random’s hold on her.
